Job duties
Ensure clear communication and the timely implementation of retail-related initiatives, such as visual merchandising (VM) and marketing, across all stores.
Oversee compliance with global operational guidelines and coordinate the introduction of new technologies, policies, and procedures developed by the global retail operations team.
Address operational challenges by collaborating with relevant departments like IT, Retail Design, and Finance, while also providing administrative support to the retail team.
Offer consistent on-the-ground support to gain deeper insights into the business operations.
Work with Logistics to support stores in managing stock levels, addressing both current and out-of-stock situations to meet business needs.
Coordinate regular inventory processes, including cycle counts and biannual stocktakes, in all retail locations.
Assist with the allocation and distribution of campaign materials and related items.
Manage account setup, registration, and provide pre-opening and on-the-ground support for new store launches.
Collaborate with stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Finance, and Digital to ensure new stores meet all operational requirements prior to opening.
Implement retail projects aimed at improving business and operational efficiency.
Support ad hoc tasks and projects as needed.
Required Skills
Exceptional communication skills in both Japanese and English
Strong computer skills, proficient use of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Outlook.
Solid understanding of retail operations and retail applications including POS
Detail oriented, with excellent follow through skills
Autonomy and strong sense of initiative
