Devise strategies to attract a new customer demographic while maintaining engagement with our current audience. Focus on increasing follower count and boosting engagement rates.
Lead strategic planning for organic social media targeting awareness and consideration audiences across brand and product campaigns, taking into account platforms, story formats, and customer journeys.
Build collaborative relationships with the Banana Republic US marketing and social teams to align on social media strategies, ensuring impactful global launches.
Manage relationships with social agency partners, refining and executing the social media playbook.
Ensure that seasonal milestones and processes align with social media requirements.
Collaborate with the creative team to produce content that aligns with brand identity (visuals, tone, and messaging), is platform-appropriate, and enhances brand perception.
Work with the US social team to align global and local social media strategies, ensuring cohesive and impactful content.
Influence seasonal briefing processes to prioritize social media-first content from the initial planning stages.
Partner with omni-content marketers to ensure creative briefs are thoughtful and well-integrated.
Evaluate potential creator partnerships, identifying emerging talent for collaboration.
Communicate strategies and seasonal plans regularly, while managing requests from cross-functional teams.
Conduct tests, competitive analyses, and social listening to uncover trends and address consumer needs.
Develop and implement streamlined processes, both internal and external, to maximize efficiency and deliver high-quality outcomes.
[Who You Are]
4+ years' experience in a brand social media or relevant roles, ideally in a fashion/lifestyle retail environments
Brand experience is preferred and agency experience is a plus
Passion, In-depth knowledge, understanding and experience with all social media platforms with a focus on Instagram and TikTok
Demonstrated success building communities in the social space
Strong visual eye and copy skills to partner with creative and editorial to bring Banana Republic brand to life in ways that create community, provide value and/or entertainment
Pre-existing relationships with social media platforms, potential partners/influencers, agencies, designers and photographers a plus
Experience using Social Media management tools for Publishing, Community management, Reporting and Analytics - eg. Sprinklr, Meltwater, BrandWatch, etc.
Must be able to adapt with changing priorities, possess outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
