Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete employee lifecycle, from recruitment to retirement, ensuring excellence in operations across areas such as administration, compensation and benefits, employee relations, HR data management, and compliance with Korean employment laws and regulations.

  • Assist in recruitment activities, including direct sourcing and talent pipeline management, coordinating with external agencies when needed, scheduling interviews, drafting offer proposals, and preparing employment agreements.

  • Manage the onboarding process and facilitate learning for new hires, delivering a seamless and engaging employee experience.

  • Administer payroll, time-off policies, and employee benefits programs efficiently.

  • Provide guidance on employee-related matters, offering coaching and support to managers on issues like performance management, employee relations, and retention challenges.

  • Support the execution of annual performance appraisals, bonus allocations, and salary reviews.

  • Ensure organizational policies align with local regulations and maintain compliance with internal procedures.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in HR operations and support special projects.

  • Promote adherence to best practices throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

  • Advocate for occupational health and safety, information security, and environmental management systems, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.

 

The successful candidate:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Management or Human Resources

  • Seasoned and mature individual contributor with a minimum 6

    years of focused HR Operations

    experience

    ideally in data centres or within infrastructure/telecommunications MNCs

  • Strong demonstrable experience working in MNCs reporting to global HQ and partnering with local stakeholders

  • Strong knowledge of Korea

    local law

    (Korea) and job market

  • Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail

  • Hands on experience in managing and navigating HRIS (e.g. Successfactors)

  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
