[SUMMARY]

We are looking for a social media expert who will partner with social analysts, strategists, planners, account managers, and content experts. They need to be social by nature, understand the platforms and be able to keep up with the ever-changing environment of social. The roles given below are crucial throughout all our business cycle, from the new business acquisition (Line especially), managing & retaining, to the greater customer success, aligning with a client’s business challenges with industry expertise to demonstrate compelling strategies, plans, and solutions for clients, with our team.  

 

[RESPONSIBILITIES]     

  • We’re looking for an experienced Sr. Social Media Strategist. You will need a minimum 8-10 years related experience, including time working in the social media in Japan.  

  • Knowledge of all the major social platforms including, but not limited to, Meta, Twitter, LINE, YouTube and Instagram. Knowledge of how social fits into digital landscape is a must. 

  • Knowledge of workings on the LINE platform, strategically connecting Line with the right Content, Media and to CRM while leverage the platform smartly across the purchase funnel to show end to end conversions will be a key part of this role.  

  • Strong team management skills, ensuring the team is supported and clear about the campaign & always-on aims and their roles in achieving this.  

  • Strong client management skills, meaning the client is confident in the consultancy provided; work is delivered on time and to a high standard; targets are reached.  

  • Strong strategic thinker with ability to plan campaigns, manage day to day tasks while still considering long term aims and targets.  

  • You will be interested in the latest paid techniques across social media and have experience in planning paid campaigns, with a focus on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.  

  • Ideally can lead a team and constructively advise them on how to do social better for clients.  

  • Familiar with Business Manager and Ads Manager to set up and optimise paid social campaigns.  

  • Good understanding of the influencer marketing landscape.  

  • Support the Head of Content in growing the business and the team, whilst taking care of key growth accounts. 

[REQUIREMENTS]  

  • Digitally savvy and creative thinker.  

  • Proactive and target oriented.  

  • Organized and priority-driven.  

  • Efficient with attention to details  

  • Native level Japanese, capable in copywriting to nail different tone of voices or at least an understanding of content. 

  • Been managing content/communities, familiar with social media listening, content publishing, and website analytical tools  

  • LINE branded channel management; and Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube.  

  • Skill sets of Microsoft Office.
