【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】
This role is the key reporting and analytical position.
Reporting
Develop and manage a suite of reports that provides useful insight into key financial and commercial data for senior leaders
Develop key sales reports and analyze market performance on a regular basis
Develop reports of business with large number of products (categories and sizes) using Power BI, and provide visibility of the business
Liaise with Global Finance Team to develop and report consistent financial KPIs
Work with Finance and JP business leaders to develop consistency across the markets in how financial information is viewed
Become the Japan Subject Matter Expert on all company-wide reporting tools and platforms (Power BI, PAW, PAX, TM1, SAP)
Partner closely with HQ to align on reporting systems, new developments and improvements in overall company-wide reporting
Develop JP cost center and P&L analysis
Work closely with JP Finance and business leaders managing budget and planning cycles. This includes developing templates, assessing inputs, and reviewing numbers.
Work closely with JP Marketing and Commercial leaders to help collect, maintain and analyze market data, and share information and product line performance in the JP market
Partner with Inc Finance team and Inc. Business Analytics team to streamline current processes and reporting
Pricing
Develop an understanding of the pricing process in the JP market, including pricing controls, pricing execution, management and visibility
Help develop and implement pricing policies for JP
Work with Product Managers to assess market pricing and develop an understanding of product positioning within markets
Work with local finance leaders and product managers on understanding product gross margin targets
Develop JP pricing visibility
Review and validate accuracy of standard costs on as needed basis
Others
Work with various cross-functional teams from operations and supply chain (consignment, loaners, service and repair) to help support decision-making with data and analysis
Complete assigned month-end closing functions timely
Assist with daily / monthly metrics reports for the operations management group
Ad-Hoc projects and assignments upon request
【REQUIREMENTS】
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Business /Mathematics
5+ years experience in finance or analysis role
Advanced skills in Power BI required with strong capabilities in creating reports and providing insights
Advanced skills in MS Office required with strong capabilities in MS Excel modeling
Experience of analyzing business with large number of products
Experience with Reporting Systems e.g. Cognos, TM1, preferred
Experience in medical device or healthcare is an advantage
Experience in developing reports using multiple data sources and systems
CPA or Big4 experience is an advantage
Ability to communicate in both English and Japanese
