【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】
Analyze data from shipping and delivery processes to identify bottlenecks and other issues.
KPI Evaluation: Evaluate and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, payment periods, and inventory turnover.
Monitor logistics operations to ensure smooth functioning and identify areas for improvement.
Inventory Management: Maintain supply chain inventory and records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Cost-Effective Solutions: Identify and implement cost-effective solutions to optimize supply chain processes.
Proactively resolve issues that may arise, such as delays in delivery or accidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure more profitable deals and strengthen partnerships.
Collaborate with and educate colleagues from other departments on effective supply chain management practices.
【REQUIREMENTS】
Minimum 7 years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
Proficiency in using ERP systems such as Dynamics 365, SAP, Infor, or similar platforms.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
Experience in dealing with both local Japanese and international suppliers.
Knowledge of import/export customs procedures.
Professional proficiency in Japanese
Professional proficiency in English
German language skills are a plus.
