Job Responsibilities
Serve as an IT business partner for SAP ERP and other enterprise systems, acting as a bridge between internal stakeholders and the central IT team to gather requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
Engage in all stages of software implementation, from initial design through rollout, while ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
Collaborate with key users to define testing scenarios, oversee external consultants during testing, and organize user training sessions as necessary.
Function as the main contact for IT help desk requests, managing issue resolution, validation, and solution rollout.
Work closely with the IT Director, Line Manager, and Process Owner to oversee change development initiatives.
Support HR and Process Owners in setting up user profiles and addressing security matters, including compliance with Segregation of Duties (SoD).
Ensure adherence to IT audit standards, such as SOX compliance requirements.
Lead change management efforts and support successful adoption of new IT systems and processes.
Manage local enterprise IT applications (e.g., SAP, Smart Factory Systems) and coordinate projects in the role of Local Demand Manager.
Contribute to business process improvement and seamless IT solution integration.
Education & Experience Requirements
A university degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline; additional certifications in SAP, PMP, or ITIL are considered beneficial.
5 to 7 years of professional experience in a multinational environment, specifically as a Demand Manager or Business Consultant.
Strong track record in implementing, rolling out, and maintaining SAP systems; familiarity with other enterprise software is an added advantage.
Solid understanding of core business processes across at least two functional areas such as Order-to-Cash, Purchase-to-Pay, Finance & Controlling, or Demand-to-Supply.
Well-developed project management abilities with experience leading diverse, cross-cultural teams.
Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and development practices.
High proficiency in both English and Japanese, with a minimum language competency equivalent to B2 level.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, combined with a practical, hands-on attitude.
Willing and able to travel for work both domestically and internationally, with flexibility to operate from mobile office setups in Yokohama, Fujisawa, or Okayama.
