< Responsibilities>

  • Aligning with both global and Japan strategies, drive organizational and talent development by designing, executing, and refining HR policies, programs, and practices.

  • Manage and optimize the PEX budget effectively, ensuring accurate forecasting throughout the year.

  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement through organizational development, fostering a strong corporate culture, and maintaining a positive work environment.

  • Partner with line managers in recruitment by establishing efficient hiring processes, conducting interviews, and advising on candidate selection.

  • Provide support and guidance to the Retail team in planning and executing store staff hiring activities and handling HR operations.

  • Design, implement, and manage talent development programs and training initiatives to support organizational strength and individual employee growth.

  • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and company policies in the areas of compensation, benefits, and broader HR regulations.

  • Administer payroll and performance appraisals accurately and on schedule, along with overseeing other core HR procedures.

  • Collaborate closely with Headquarters to align global HR strategies with local initiatives, and work with all MSGJ line managers to ensure HR policies and programs are effectively implemented.

<Key requirements / Minimum qualifications> 

  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience as an HR generalist

  • Over 10 years of experience in HR, with strong expertise in both HR management and operational functions

  • Solid understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements

  • Proven skills in data analysis, reporting, strategic decision-making, project management, and process optimization

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Business-level proficiency in English

  • Professional demeanor with a strategic and logical approach to work

  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities

  • Highly organized with strong planning and coordination skills

  • Proficient in relevant HR software and systems

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office word, excel, PowerPoint

  • Experience of HR system administration
