What You’ll Do:
Strategic Omni-Channel Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute an integrated, full-funnel marketing strategy across digital, social media, retail, e-commerce, PR, and CRM to boost brand visibility and drive ROI.
- Collaborate with the VP of Marketing and Operations to create strategic marketing plans that align with long-term business objectives.
- Leverage global and local consumer insights from quantitative and qualitative research to inform strategy development.
- Ensure creative alignment across local and global campaigns while maintaining brand voice and vision.
- Develop and implement creative marketing concepts tailored to brand identity and market trends.
- Share market insights and seasonal marketing strategies with global teams.
Annual & Seasonal Marketing Planning
- Develop annual marketing strategies that align with overall business goals.
- Create seasonal marketing plans aligned with specific product strategies and business targets, presenting them cross-functionally to guide execution.
- Lead marketing experts to execute seasonal campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader marketing strategies.
- Maintain global brand consistency while addressing market-specific cultural differences.
- Manage project pipelines, key milestones, and deliver quarterly recaps to inform future strategies.
Promotions, Events, and Calendar Management
- Plan and execute seasonal and monthly promotions and events for retail and e-commerce in collaboration with leadership teams.
- Develop flagship event strategies and marketing efforts for new store openings.
- Apply creative thinking to promotions and events, enhancing customer engagement.
- Maintain and update marketing calendars to ensure seamless coordination.
Global Marketing Collaboration
- Act as a key participant in the global marketing network, fostering team connectivity.
- Serve as a market expert, sharing relevant insights and cascading global updates to local teams.
Marketing Budget and Team Management
- Oversee budget allocation in collaboration with leadership and finance teams.
- Lead and develop the Gap and Banana Republic marketing team, fostering talent growth and professional development.
Creative Innovation
- Cultivate a culture of creativity and innovation, ensuring content aligns with brand style and storytelling standards.
Candidate Profile
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Over 12 years of brand marketing experience in leadership roles
- Proven ability to build and manage high-performing teams
- Strong command of English (written and spoken)
- Extensive marketing experience in global fashion, retail, or consumer goods sectors
- Expertise in writing detailed briefs and managing agencies
- Deep understanding of Gap & Banana Republic brand aesthetics
- Skilled in creative collaboration and strategic thinking
- Strong multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments
- Adaptable to changing strategies and remote leadership
Minimum Experience:
- 7-10 years of marketing experience, preferably in fashion, retail, or consumer goods industries
