【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】
Lead Raw Material purchasing activities along with same commodity buyers across Japan.
Monitor supplier capabilities and market trends of Raw Materials.
Manage and align supplier panel with Head of Raw Material purchasing Japan.
Involve in developing and planning of Raw Material purchasing strategies.
Involve in supplier nomination of key projects.
Conduct supplier negotiation to achieve saving target.
Involve in Supply Chain Risk management.
Support new project launch in Japan.
Support escalations from other functions such as Plant, Supplier Quality, Logistics, etc.
【REQUIREMENTS】
3+ years in Purchasing/Buyer experience is mandatory
Professional negotiation and communication skills required
Deep knowledge of Japanese business culture
Automotive / manufacturing industry experience is a plus
International experience and intercultural skills are plus
SAP skill for material management module is a plus
Purchasing/Buyer experience in RM is a plus
Fluency in Japanese language is required, communication level in English preferred.
