Job Summary:
Oversees operations related to managing the assigned product line portfolio, aiming to meet profitability goals through long-term strategy, innovative product development, and efficient supply chain oversight.
Focuses heavily on creating and implementing profit-oriented strategies aligned with a long-term business vision. Works closely with Communication, Activation, and Sales teams to ensure new products align with consumer needs and expectations.
Job Duties:
Analyzes consumer needs, customer expectations, and market competition to guide new product development and strategic planning, ensuring effective portfolio and lifecycle management across segments, channels, and audiences.
Leads the establishment of a business intelligence function to gather and interpret market and competitive data, generating insights that support strategic initiatives and new product planning while advancing overall business strategies.
Partners with the Activation team to execute new product launches, including planning timelines, merchandising, promotional campaigns, advertising, product training, marketing materials, catalogs, and trade promotions.
Monitors product line performance, assessing actual sales and profit outcomes, and drives corrective strategies to align results with business objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in product development
Preferred background in marketing, activation, and consumer research
Proficient in sales operating systems such as SAP or similar platforms
