Key Responsibilities

**Generalist Role:**

- Oversee HR policies and regulations across the APAC region, including time and absence management.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding processes for APAC employees.
- Assist with HR transformation initiatives across APAC and help update or create policy documents.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports to local labor authorities.
- Manage Japan-specific benefits and requirements, such as coordinating company doctor meetings, handling related paperwork, and overseeing invoice management.

**Performance Management:**

- Support the APAC HR Business Partner in talent cycle processes, including region-specific promotion procedures.
- Assist with performance reviews and provide insights through performance data analysis.

**Talent Acquisition:**

- Work alongside the recruitment team to assist in talent acquisition efforts.
- Provide support with immigration-related matters when necessary.

**Learning and Development:**

- Identify training needs and leverage talent development resources.
- Partner with both global and APAC Talent Development teams to deliver training programs.

 

**Requirements**

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a

related field preferred.

• Certification: Health Supervisor certification is a plus but not mandatory.

• Experience: Proven experience in HR, particularly in a generalist role (1-3 years

preferred).

 

**Skills**

• Basic understanding of HR processes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.

•Familiarity with HR software

• Fluent in Japanese and English, proficiency in any Asian language is a plus (especially Chinese)

• Cultural sensitivity and understanding of local labor laws.
