About the Company:

Main Responsibilities:
The Global Markets Japan division includes Sales and Trading teams, delivering a wide range of financial solutions to institutions, pension funds, asset managers, and corporations. Global Markets assistants are part of the Global Markets Business Management department, supporting the daily operations of Sales and Trading teams through administrative, governance, operational, and strategic planning functions.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide daily administrative support to Global Markets Sales and Trading teams.
Manage calls, team schedules, calendars, expense reports, courier services, business cards, meetings, business travel (including inbound/outbound logistics), and corporate entertainment (e.g., dinners, golf events).
Arrange meeting rooms and coordinate with IT for video conferences, including communication with overseas offices.
Assist in distributing research materials, fund reports, and presentations to external clients.
Handle documentation, including scanning, archiving, and tracking.
Manage relationships with external vendors such as translators, couriers, and market data providers.
Organize and provide logistical support for Global Markets client events like seminars and conferences.
Supervise temporary assistants and provide backup support for senior assistants in Japan as needed.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in the financial industry is preferred, but candidates with a willingness to learn and adapt are encouraged to apply.
A team player with strong motivation and the ability to work independently.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in Japanese (native level) and English (business level); translation skills are a plus but not required.
Ability to interpret global and local policies and integrate them into daily operations.
Strong time management, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities in high-pressure environments.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and internal systems.
