JOB DESCRIPTION

 

HARD SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

 

DIGITAL COMPETENCY

  • Lead major components of

    • Strategic digital planning

    • Social Media and other platform specific strategy and tactics development

    • influencer engagement strategy development and implementation (in-house and/or with partner vendors)

    • platform / community management (with support of junior staff)

    • paid media planning and execution (in-house and/or with partner vendors)

    • Social Listening & Analytics execution and data-driven strategy planning

  • Develop messages and adopt digital tactics and platforms strategies effectively to drive client goals

  • Write and brief creatives appropriately to support digital tactics execution

  • Own relationships with top online influencers related to client work (in-house or with partner agencies)

  • Formulate plan, set effective KPIs and guide team members to track and report digital results for strategic decision making

  • Strategize, plan and supervise updates to digital platforms, sites, applications

  • Know how to plan, implement and supervise live event coverage (in-house and/or with partner agencies)

  • Leverage opportunities and trends based on insights drawn from monitoring and implement action plans to support clients achieve extraordinary results

  • Actively listen to and provide instructions and demonstrate an understanding of assignment expectations (timing and deliverables) while reaching out for guidance when needed

  • Maintain a solid understanding of all relevant digital competencies, including analytics, content creation, community management, website maintenance, influencer engagement and how earned/owned/paid media work together to achieve PR and Marketing results for our clients

  • Maintain working knowledge of the Agencys chosen tools and proactively consider future tools

  • Work proactively, demonstrating the ability to anticipate problems and opportunities to grow business and talents

 

DIGITAL PLANNING & EXECUTION

  • Initiate and contribute to strategic plans with clear direction and digital goals in mind

  • Have a good understanding of the roles of a PR agency within the context of an integrated marketing approach to develop new capacities and clients

  • Demonstrate working-knowledge of the clients digital (social/influencer/paid) landscape and proactively offer ways to improve against competitors

  • Ability to create complex and longer-term plans with limited direction

  • Craft and manage the execution of plans for medium to large-scale digital (social/influencer/paid) activations

  • Be a subject-matter-expert in one or more digital competencies [e.g. AI, paid, social platform]

  • Proofread and improve upon digital content written by team members and ensure parity with strategic imperatives

  • Develop and deliver client presentations related to digital (social/influencer/paid) activations

  • Oversee and contribute to developing

    reporting for your digital (social/influencer/paid) activations under your care
