As the Country Manager, you will lead the development of a high-performing local team, shape and implement the brand’s strategic direction, and spearhead market growth initiatives. 【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】
Market Leadership: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to establish Vowels as a leading brand in the luxury streetwear segment.
Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team across retail, marketing, and operations to drive overall business success.
Retail & Wholesale Growth: Enhance retail performance, manage store operations efficiently, and cultivate strong wholesale partnerships to expand market presence.
Brand & Marketing Execution: Elevate brand visibility, adapt global marketing strategies to suit the local market, and nurture relationships with VIP clientele.
Sales & Business Growth: Define ambitious sales targets, track key performance indicators, and drive revenue growth while maintaining profitability.
Operational Management: Lead day-to-day operations with a focus on seamless integration between the Japan headquarters and the local market teams.
Who you are
Luxury & Fashion Specialist: Demonstrated track record in luxury fashion, streetwear, or high-end retail environments.
Strategic Leadership: Business-savvy professional with experience in scaling brands and driving growth in fast-paced markets.
Retail & Wholesale Expertise: Solid background in retail operations, distribution, or business development within the premium or luxury segment.
Industry Connections: Well-connected with key stakeholders across the fashion, retail, and media landscapes.
Global Perspective: Adept at working across diverse cultures, with a strong understanding of Japan-based production and market dynamics.
【REQUIREMENTS】
Over 10 years of experience in luxury fashion, retail operations, or brand leadership roles.
A proven track record of driving market expansion, accelerating sales growth, and leading high-performing teams.
Strong financial acumen with expertise in P&L management and achieving revenue goals.
Full fluency in both Japanese and English; proficiency in additional languages such as French or Mandarin is a plus.
