MISSION OF THE JOB:
The Store Development Senior Manager will oversee the implementation of projects related
to store openings (directly operated stores, shop-in-shop, corners), refurbishments, office
projects, and special initiatives. This role ensures work execution within scheduled
timeframes and budgets while maintaining the company’s quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scope:
• Oversee retail and wholesale project management, including new store openings,
renovations, and maintenance.
• Responsible for back-of-house (BOH) projects and overall facility maintenance.
Current Roles & Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of project managers
• Ensure successful execution of store development projects with flawless quality, on-
time delivery, and within budget.
• Supervise design development, tendering, and construction phases.
• Maintain and optimize store network maintenance, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Develop both short- and long-term strategies and improve processes related to
budgeting, procurement, and planning.
• Build and maintain strong vendor networks while ensuring full compliance with
regulations and company standards.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES:
• Minimum 15 years of experience in luxury store design and planning.
• Strong technical background in construction and maintenance.
• Proven experience in people management and leadership roles.
• Fluency in both English and Japanese.
• Extensive experience in project management, including budgeting, quality control,
and scheduling.
• Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with headquarters.
• Strong leadership, proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills.
• Multicultural understanding and strategic thinking.
• Degree in Architecture or Engineering is preferred.
