Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales activities for existing and potential clients, focusing on large Japanese multinational corporations with global operations.

  • Work closely with the Asia Pacific sales team to develop new client relationships and expand business opportunities.

  • Identify and pursue business prospects with Japanese multinational firms executing global strategies.

  • Oversee account planning, handle customer inquiries, and conduct business performance reviews.

  • Offer solution-based sales strategies and best practice recommendations to clients.

  • Participate in customer tenders, providing competitive pricing and service proposals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding (experience with multinational/global clients preferred).

  • Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and strengthen client relationships.

  • Expertise in identifying key success factors and developing competitive strategies.

Language Requirements:

  • English: TOEIC 800+ (necessary for email, phone communication, and conference calls with global sales teams).

  • Japanese: JLPT N1 level.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Proactive and highly motivated.

  • Extensive industry knowledge, with expertise in both ocean and air freight preferred.

  • Strong communication skills for engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to develop tailored proposals for clients.
