Job description
Manages IT staff in the region by guiding, training, and helping them grow both personally and professionally to ensure high productivity and effective system solutions. Focuses on meeting performance goals and supporting employee development through regular planning and feedback.
Works with approved IT vendors to deliver Commercial Technology projects, managing project scope and deliverables. Ensures vendors follow company standards and policies while maintaining a collaborative, business-focused relationship.
Leads IT processes by coordinating with global teams when outside resources are needed for projects. Makes sure regional employees understand and follow IT processes, and implements any necessary changes to these processes within the region.
Collaborates with regional sales leaders and global colleagues to identify how changes in processes and technology can improve the work of sales and marketing teams worldwide.
Oversees regional IT projects and represents IT in other business projects within the region. Works with Project Managers to coordinate roles and responsibilities for both global commercial and IT projects.
Collaborates with global leadership to implement key aspects of the sales force automation strategy in the region. Works with sales teams and global IT to improve the processes and technologies used by sales teams, helping them become more efficient and effective.
Collaborates with global leadership and internal IT teams to identify analytics needs, manage, and implement analytics projects, while providing support for ongoing efforts.
Helps teams use the company’s collaborative technologies effectively within the commercial business. Improves collaboration with distributor partners in the region.
Ensures IT initiatives are carried out across multiple regions by working with both local and global IT teams. Supports other IT areas (like HR, Finance, Supply Chain) in their implementations as needed.
Manages support and training for new systems as they are introduced in the regions. Acts as a liaison between global IT, the help desk, and regional teams.
Promotes ongoing digital transformation by encouraging the adoption of new technologies. Provides technical guidance in the region and helps develop "change champions" to lead the way.
Requirement
BA in computer science, information technology or related field
Experience in commercial reporting and analitycs for 8years +
Strong problem solving skills, attention to details and critical thinking abilities
Strong communication skills across all levels of the region
Experience in business planning
Business level of English and Fluency in Japanese
