Field Sales Engineer
【COMPANY OVERVIEW】
Responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales goals, maximizing and growing the business by actively visiting channel partners, customers, and key accounts, as well as maintaining and developing relationships in cabling and wireless sectors, and generating demand for selected product lines.
【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】
Achieve the monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for both bookings and revenue.
Develop and manage strong relationships with customers to drive growth and achieve goals.
Share information about opportunities and customers appropriately, and provide timely feedback on customers’ requirements.
Train Channel Partners and Reps to effectively demo and use the products.
Present and demonstrate the products and solutions to end-users and distributor sales & marketing personnel.
Escalate customers’ issues to achieve early resolution and improve customer satisfaction.
Understand customers’ requirements to propose suitable solutions.
Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Extensive travel and extended hours as required.
【REQUIREMENTS】
Demonstrated success in delivering results.
5 to 10 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in test and measurement sales.
Fluent in Japanese.
A good understanding of computer-network product technologies.
In-depth understanding of regional and local competitors, strategies, and sales channels.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, or electrical/computer engineering, or equivalent in a related field.
【WELCOME SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE】
Excellent knowledge of copper and fiber cabling in LAN & DC environments.
English language skills not required, but openness to an English and global working environment is preferred.
