Responsibilities:
Oversee contract manufacturing operations to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Monitor and ensure compliance with social standards, SHEQ, stock management, service levels, yield, costs (including P&L), and performance in accordance with legal and corporate requirements.
Regularly assess and review third-party manufacturing (3PM) compliance with support from site compliance professionals.
Work with the audit team to conduct scheduled compliance audits and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
Collaborate with business, purchasing, and site teams to select and streamline toll manufacturers.
Manage 3PM-related complaints through the company's CCMS and SCMS systems, ensuring routine performance tracking of key aspects such as technology, quality, responsiveness, delivery, and cost, with monthly reporting.
Maintain robust systems to protect company technology, business information, and supplied materials.
Support new product introduction (NPI) projects and coordinate communication and investment with contract manufacturers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or production engineering.
5–10 years of relevant industry experience.
At least 3 years of managerial experience.
Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese.
