[RESPONSIBILITIES]
We seek a communications professional with a minimum of 6 years of experience working in the consumer sector (in PR, marketing, or advertising, on the agency side or in-house). PR and marketing experience is preferred, with any peripheral experience in communications a big plus.
The consumer and hospitality sectors, including in aviation, entertainment, hotels, and travel and tourism, and more are growing strongly. Brands want to tell fresh new stories to provide customers with safe and more enjoyable experiences with unique differentiators. In addition to creative communication strategies that leverage story-building and media exposure, companies seek comprehensive communications planning that integrates a mix of traditional PR, influencers, social campaigns, and content creation.
What you will do with us:
- Provide consultation and strategic planning to solve client challenges, with the supervision of Director, or someone equivalent (e.g. account team leader)
- Manage AM and AE
- Media monitoring and analysis
- Media story development and media engagement (business, trade etc.)
- PR collateral development (press release, blogs, etc.)
- Event planning and execution
- Reporting
- Planning and execution of social and digital communication programs, including influencer marketing
- Media database management
- Research in data planning and support
- Liaising with other group teams e.g. communication strategy development working with our strategists and planners, influencer activation with our social media team, and content production with our creative and production teams
[REQUIREMENTS]
- Minimum of 6 years of PR or marketing communication experience
- Work experience at an agency or as an in-house at pharmaceutical or medical equipment companies (peripheral industries such as biotechnology is also welcome)
- Strong Japanese business writing skills and Business level English
- Business level English ability
- Ambitious and highly self-motivated
- Problem-solving mindset
- Proactive and self-starter
- Knowledge in digital, including content creation, advertising, social media campaigns, etc. (nice to have)
